Adult Education

At VBI, we believe that one of the primary functions of a synagogue is to be a house of learning, and Jewish education is a lifelong process. 
Rabbi Goodman teaches our Adult Education class on Sundays. This class has open format covering Jewish History, Talmud, and Analytical Theology. No prior knowledge of these subjects is required for enrollment. 
 

Daughters of Sara - Women's Rosh Chodesh Group

Meets 1 Saturday a month - (TBA, annouced during shabbat services)
from 12:45p until 2:00p in the library following the Kiddush Luncheon 
Discuss topics regarding women's issues

Sisterhood and Mens Club

VBI has a strong, active Sisterhood and a Men's Club program that offer various social activities throughout the year including quarterly Shabbat dinners, dances, raffles, gift bazaars, book clubs, barbeques, concerts and field trips. Over the years VBI's Sisterhood has won numerous awards from the Womens' League for Conservative Judaism and the Womens' Valley Alliance.
